Todays Date:

Sughudana (reign circa 424BC-423BC)

Sughudana claimed the throne the same time Khshayarsha II did, after Artakhshathra passed away. Khshayarsha was readily accepted within the vicintiy of Persia. However in Elam (his mother, according to Ctesias, was a Babylonian) Sughudana was favored. After having sent two conspirators against his half-brother, Khshayarsha was disposed of and Sughudana gained short-lived power. Shortly after an outraged Darayavaush II, who was already the satrap of Hyrcania, overthrew Sughudana.
